Mentor roulette issues

So I queue up for a mentor roulette, expecting to help some people with an extreme primal clear or something.
After loading in... I realized it gave me Castrum Meridianum, a main story quest dungeon.
It wasn't even anyone's first clear, no bonus for wondrous tails. ( I just was forced into a slot for Main story roulette it seems.)
Then I sit for about an hour watching cut scenes I've seen before. (which can't be skipped anymore.)
I figure fine, I don't mind helping, but upon completing the story dungeon
I realize I only got the 30 tombstones of creation and 10 tombstones of mendacity.
I spent an hour of my time doing this for that little reward?
Considering Main story roulette gives 100 creation, 50 mendacity... I could of just queued for Story roulette and gotten more out of it.
It makes me feel a bit reluctant to even do Mentor roulette anymore.

I suggest if Mentor roulette is going to include story dungeons, we should at least get the same amount as the Story roulette.

You know if you pick Mentor roulette, you are doing it knowing you are there to fill queues regardless of the duty you get thrown in to. Considering how long the MSQ duties are, it would of been quicker to leave the duty and take the 30min penalty and try the roulette again after that if you really needed to get the reward from it.

As a mentor, the answer should never be "Tank should leave if they don't like what instance is given."
We're suppose to be a model players for the newer ones.

But you just said that no one was new in the duty, and besides there are plenty of mentors out there that abuse the function of leaving a duty so the model player status has already been tarnished a long time ago. I'm not suggesting that you should, but the option is still there if anyone wanted to use.

Though when it comes to doing the Mentor Roulette, personally I think players should always give plenty of time to do it because you never know whether you'll get something easy or an Ex Primal fight that could take just as long as any MSQ duty.

This is more a problem with the cutscenes being unskippable than the mentor roulette itself.

Honestly would rather a difficult Ex Primal fight over a hour long unskippable cut scene.
Regardless, mentors are getting shafted by the low rewards of the roulette.

I think the cutscenes unskippable is a great idea, Praetorium for example have important elements for main story. They could even push it back in some moment of the msq.
Honestly, I feel a bit pissed when people are like "Aiiiiin read the CS in the inn" Dude, one of the reason for me paying this game is because the story is good and I. DONT. WANT. TO. READ. THE. CUTSCENES. OUT. OF. CONTEXT.

mentor roulette is not there for you to take advantage of. it is there for you to help other people than yourself.

If people can't take advantage of the rewards, then no one will do it. Simple as that, there may be a few doing it for achievements but outside of that... Mentors will stop doing the roulette almost entirely.
