Guess I'll just say goodbye now then. You know they aren't moving the data center again and they most certainly aren't going to lower the GCD. Your demands aren't even feasible.........so maybe this game isn't for you?I might quit before next expansion I don't like what they did on technical forum by avoiding NTT Problems & our current QOL in SB are questionable as fudge. If 5.0 doesnt bring something new like reduce GCD or better location for server NA.
I am done with FF14 for awhile until fix they re stuff.
Aside from external circumstances... like if Fallout 76 ends up being really, REALLY, good (if it's fully online as rumors are still speculating as I type this.
This game is like a light version of Game of Thrones or some kind of ongoing story and side filler arcs that I keep playing to see what happens next. I'm not super into raids, but I try to get as far as my lone butt can gone.
I can see myself leaving FFXIV if they ended up pulling a Bungie and start trickling down content but expect full price. IMHO, FFXIV you do get your money's worth as long as you don't no-life everything, and even still. I like that this exp we're getting new zones. I'm glad they don't deal with season passes and DLC, it's just the exp and optional collector's ed, and patches every few months. The monthly fee to me is better than paying ahead of time only to get let down later on.
What does annoy me is how they made certain DPS jobs feel like whack-a-mole for a small amount of damage or utility and it had me take breaks for an entire patch save for a few moments of logging in. Like MCH for example, BRD feels far more fluid yet MCH feels tedious and un-fun unless you like that sort of gameplay. Bards can auto reload bows, but MCHs have to manually reload, and it's only three rounds? I think if they made it to where you reload automatically and give it potency buffs It could cut down on the headache and you could just have some kind if combo rotation in it's place. Maybe I was so desperate to finally get to play a gun class only for it to feel like you really had to tunnel vision your hotbar and if you mess up your Wildfire suffers greatly.
At least they fixed MNK for the time being, nice to do raids on it and not feel like I'm bringing the team down.
