Ok then. I think the armory system should be replaced by squid. Every class/job should just be some slightly different size of squid. I feel that this system is better than what SE is going to impliment because that is my feeling based on what I guess the system will look like based on a dream I had last night. Replacing this overly complicated system with squid will be infinitely better than whatever SE is devising because it is true.

A vote for a system based on squid is a vote for success.

Its no secret, the armory system suck... making the game struggle. I wanna be able to take off my polearm and still be a lnc.

Yeah I agree, the armory system is great.

TypeZ's postis the type of garbage that makes me sick here. A bullet statement of "how something sucks". No reason, explaination, or justification. If you want to make a comment like that, tell us why or else you just look like a troll. Please, tell us how to improve it......Personally the armory system is what I really like about the game. We need more cross class abilities, and more control over effective stats.

You're in an EXP party. You get punted by a mob. You're not the tank. The healer is already healing the tank. You're a DRG. You're an inch away from death. What do you do? Well, you can't cure yourself, so die. Guess you should've been LNC on this occassion. gg

but they could easy just add back in sub jobs to fix that just like they did in ffxi

Indeed, it'd be interesting if they also go with the subjob-route in time on top of the armory system.

something tells me you dont understand the full purpose of the job and class system as its going to be


even now, with healing as it has been, conj are dedicated healers, and in exp parties you are still required to moniter your own health as if you do sometying dumb(like stand in front of aoe and such) the healer is focusing on a tank cant always take the time to split from him to heal you instead

if you can get 2-shotted by a mob in an exp pt your in over your head to begin with lol

and if you can get 2-shotted by a mob anyway you wont have time get out a heal + your 200 hp cure wont make a big difference anyway

I never said it was 2 hits. Say the tank has ~3 mobs on him, they AoE sporadically. There's an add on you, additionally. Specific enough now to make my point?

They're different games. Embrace change and don't beat it till you've tried it.
