    Hien Cutscene Not Loading

    SO I'm on the first quest for patch 4.3. And for some bizarre reason, I'm left staring at a black screen but the loading subyl is still there. Is this due to congestion or is this part of my game files.

    Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    Just to clarify, you start this quest, then you only have a black screen instead of a cutscene? Can you hear the cutscene or does everything go silent? Can you exit the cutscene or are you stuck there?

    A few things to check:

    Make sure your graphics drivers are updated.
    Try running the game in DX9 mode
    Disable any overlays you may have active.
