If we get a new Scion/Archon...What should he/she be like?

You should really poke your head into the waking sands or rising stone, place is full of scions we just haven't had to talk to them through the msq yet. Take Aranvald for instance, that guy got recruited into the scions right before us and we only started talking to him via the msq in 4.0/4.1.

As for Minfilia? Her shoes are easy to fill as she was merely a figurehead with less practical uses than Queen Elizabeth. Her bra on the other hand is like way too big for every other NPC.

Minfilia and F'lhaminn was the canon V1.00 connection to the 2.0 game. Thancred, Y'shtola and Yda&Papalymo basically got upgraded to Angst, Blind, Dead and Dead. Also don't forget everyone who died just before Cid is re-discovered.

The problem I see is that the game can't really introduce anyone else as it cuts screen time (and voice acting budget) from the rest of the cast. That's why the job quests have no voice acting. Unless another race is found, anyone else with the "echo" is likely to not be discovered within Eorzea or Othard. The way the Au ra race was introduced into the game (by having Yugiri masked) was at best clumsy.

And I'm still annoyed how Papalymo was thrown under the bus, it didn't feel like a dramatic sacrifice, it felt like "I was fired".

Someone who isn't the TV trope of doom. Pleasant & personable, perhaps sweet or charming, and actually efficient at their "job."

Will not be surprised if that person is a Garlean.

Probably meet this person as a unintended enemy because of forced conscription due to a greedy garlean noble but as we spy on the camp where this person is located disguised as a garlean we get to see a bit more on the division between garleans on things through the military rank stand point while getting to know the person a bit along with his or her commanding officer who is also on the peace faction side (and not in good terms with the garlean noble that commands their group).

(and probably help this person and his captain, while still disguised as a Garlean soldier, beat up this greedy garlean noble because this garlean noble thought he could get away with murdering their comrades and prisoners of war just because he thinks those people were lower than him due to garlean social status)

We know Garlean Empire is also dealing with their own "nobility vs commoner" status as well from the 3.0 allied beast tribe and I would not be surprised if certain Garlean Nobles get most of their solders from conscriptions even on other Garleans of lower social status.

If theres ever a time travelling expansion set in the past...I'd rather have Moenbryda become a main character there.
