I feel the same way, they are giving me less and less reasons to log on with problem after problem - coming from someone that has been around since 1.0. There are some serious issues going on imo.I feel the same way as some of the other posters. I come home and want to play. But after 7pm CST, I can't enjoy the game. Huge latency spikes on the San Jose nodes make the game impossible to play. I can't even sit in the residential areas with no players around me without bad latency and trying craft items or go out and gather resources without large delays and lag. This have been an issue for me for nearly a year now and it's reached a point I can't enjoy the game other than weekends when I'm not at work and even then, I still can't play it after the evening starts. Raids are impossible and Eureka isn't even worth going to with that kind of latency. And it's been getting worse. Bad enough I was getting 180ms hops. Now it's peaking around 240ms-300ms. It's outrageous. I've stopped playing after 7pm and have gone back to WoW. For the first time since I started playing FFXIV two years ago, I've considered cancelling my sub. While I'm getting 300ms latency on FFXIV, I get 50ms latency on WoW, at exactly the same time of night. I've swapped games to test. The issue is NTT and the California nodes. I get 50ms latency all the way from here to Texas and soon as the hops hit San Jose, the latency goes way up.
