Luckily, the issue you have doesn't seem to be affecting you while you play it, but may in the future. However, in trying to fix this issue, you might end up creating more problems. So just a fair bit of warning before we try troubleshooting it.

Here are some troubleshooting options you can try:

-Run the game in DirectX 9 mode.
-Disable all programs/overlays running in the background
-Set compatibility mode to Windows 7. Right click the exe file and select ‘Properties.’ From here, select the ‘Compatibility’ tab and select Windows 7.
-Perform a clean boot. Simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC.
-Make sure that any anti-virus software you have has the appropriate exceptions for FFXIV
-Install the game on C drive (The same drive as the Operating System)
