In pugs there is an astronomical difference when your OT voke/shirks you. If you've got that happening on CD you have to think about enmity a lot less and if you're used to it then get an OT who doesn't do it it can be rough.

Not an excuse, should keep an eye on enmity anyways, but it's a factor.

Yeah definitely, although in Light Party content if everyone has to burn though Diversion/Lucid etc (and have them stuck on cd) to get rid of aggro and the tank still can't maintain the aggro then something is really wrong in that instance. Most occasions the party works in sync and avoids those issues, but there is always one party matched up at some point that ends up with the above.

Tanking is, like every other Role in this Game, very easy.

If I do Dungeons like Expert in DF, most of the time i don't need Tank-Stance for Aggro, because the DDs are doing so low DPS.
Most of the time i see DDs are doing 1,5-2,5k DPS, while the Tank is doing 4-5k DPS and the Healer 3-4k DPS.
Sometimes there is a good DDs, but they are pretty rare.

A good DD can do good DPS and can control his enmity-bar.

Imo if all you do is dungeons, then yes, tanking is pretty easy.

If you touch upon savage and extreme where you’re having to do swaps, time cooldowns properly and having to do tricky mechanics (normally with not much room for error), it gets harder, especially if you die, because it usually means a wipe and the run is over, to everyone else’s annoyance. :P
