Edit: also another thing you mention: talking to your group. Lotta people don't bother. I've honestly had a lot of terrible runs become some of my favourites because I took the time to open communication overtures to the rest of the party, but so many people are afraid of the "you don't pay my sub" retort they don't want to be the one to do it lol.

I think leveling all 3 tanks I have had that response from talking with my group twice. Really communication is the best option, but I understand people’s fears. Sometimes 1 bad experience ruins all experiences for some people. Guess it just depends on the experiences and the person too.

I’m sorry. As a MNK who has spent almost five years without a proper aggro dump, I’m not used to Purification suddenly halving enmity.

If I had to lose a Forbidden Chakra use because of enmity I'd rather die anyway.

Nope. Elusive Jump can be used for movement, Third Eye simply needs to be triggered by aoe damage and Ninja is Ninja.
I swear to God Monk is the only job that gets these weird as hell gimmicks skills. This is like if DRG enmity could only be reduced by sacrificing Nastrond.

Enmity is shared responsibility, players that fail to accept this reality can die and enjoy being kicked from parties I am in.
If enmity was not a shared responsibility then skills such as Diversion, Lucid Dreaming, Tactician, Elusive Jump, Repelling shot, Purification, Merciful Eyes, etc... would not exist.

It may be a racial Midlander Hyur thing if you aren't seeing it in the options when you talk to Super Ninja Barber. It's one of the defaults avaliable to me as that race at least.

Ahh, thank you! We're both Midlanders, and have access to all the same hairstyles. I don't change my hair often at all. So seldom I do that I didn't notice that there are ton of hairstyles available now since I last checked lol.

Id argue tanks are getting worse....not harder. But that's just me. (And I've been able to prove it....we have a rather scary good paladin in our FC)

I will not argue that as SB goes on those that are not main tank or are just leveling it to complete the set exist. I have also heard in general tank quality is getting worse. When Im leveling my DPS classes I hear a lot of 'But my damage' comments when I ask for another overpower or flash. I try as a DPS to keep my hate down (not hard since I dont know DPS well enough to get any real numbers out there). There is an argument of tank skill is slipping.

If you're using Tornado Kick in your rotation, which is now optimal thanks to RoW, enmity will creep up fast.
Of course, Diversion solves all.

I am just gonna play the world's smallest violin over the fact that SE buffed diversion and add enemity as well as buffing enemity to tank skills like every patch. So yeah tanking is definitely getting harder as it goes
