Make Ultimate rewards more ''noticeable''

The standard argument against is ''Ultimate was created for a challenge and nothing more'' I don't agree with such reasoning but I understand it. However this 1 additional materia is just silly. Why not make it lvl 1 like with pvp then? Either we have rewards or no, correct? While the idea of bringing old Savage difficulty back feels like you are showing respect to the old and new hardcore players, giving these weapons (literally savage weapons with 1 more materia slot) as a ''reward'' is like spit in the face. It would be even better if there wouldn't be any weapons at all.

For an example make Ultimate weapons 5 ilvls bigger than savage, if Diadem and Final Eureka (probably judging by the recent interview) can have bigger ilvl than Savage then why not Ultimate? If that is out of the options, give it at least 5 materia slots with current ilvl. It won't kill relic grind because 99% of players will never be able to get these weapons so they will pick up relic anyway.

I feel the satisfaction of clearing it ,a title would be everything also not needing to wait 8 weeks for a weapon or get a lucky drop when its a grunteed totem
Higher ilevel isnt always the best when in the past items with lower ilevel have been bis
Like Monk,Sam,Whm and Bards prefer the i370 to i375 weapon

Increase in materia slots probably the best way to do it if you want to make it straight up better

I think a bright golden super shiny weapon, or the new "ultra white shine right in your face" is noticable enoug.

Why do you need it to be stronger, OP? If you've obtained the weapon, you've already cleared the most difficult content in the game.

I'll also echo the others above me, the Unending Coil weapons are visually very noticeable, and they always stand out to me.

I disagree. The title is more than enough. Considering still less than 1% have actually cleared, that in and of itself is an accomplishment.

Bards prefer the i370 to i375 weapon

Uh, this is wrong. BRD BiS is the Diamond Bow. For all 4 current BRD BiS. It has, not only the weapon damage plus more main stat, but +318 crit. The i370 is not max crit, even with 2 Crit VI melds, and crit is everything to a BRD—so much so that there is a High Crit build that uses two tomestone rings (i370+i360) and a pentamelded i350 crafted bracelet over the i370 Savage ring and i370 tomestone bracelet.
