The 2nd was personally requested by the Level-5 CEO, and YoshiP said okay. As he didn't finish the mount the first time.
It's to prevent tanks from using STR accessories over VIT.
Oh i am aware they are buddy buddy.
The 2nd time around the event was much longer then any other event by a longshot
I guess more actual FF related events is what i would prefer over Power Rangers, Yo-Kai Watch, etc..
4.0 PvP changes.

Cast times for BRD and MCH (but hey, least they had the decency to undo THAT)
Role actions. Whatever was the point of deleting each tank's specific 20% defensive cool down if rampart is never ever EVER removed? Ditto with provoke, protect, ensuna, etc.
Also: removing low blow from DRK, making it a role action, making DRK pick low blow anyway, while no other tank needs/uses it. Oh and without potency.
I disagree with this. The thought behind role actions was to make it so you didn't have to level other jobs to supply your main job with essential skills. Do you know how many Heavensward Dark Knights doing end game at 60 had no idea what Provoke was? It was horrendous. The Bismark trial in particular was full of brand new Dark Knights that couldn't pick up the snake adds. That class in particular was so saturated with brand new players missing cross skills and we all paid for it. Then we had to say, oh yeah, actually, you've got to go get gladiator to level 22...Role actions. Every single physical dps job had to level dragoon to 34 to for b4b and invigorate...
While tank role actions in particular are pretty bland, I find as a melee main I adjust each skill depending on the fight. Ditto with healer. I think the sudden backlash against protect being necessary is in regards to its annoying to keep having to equip and unequip and I don't think that should have been a role skill.
I think the systems fine, just needs a bit more thought about what should and shouldn't be there as "optional".

I know some raid floors werent tested properly but nerfing mechanics in raid to garbage level makes no sense. Can easily keep the same mechanics just lower the HP of certain mobs or lower the damage of certain mechanics or increase the time allows to do mechanics is so much better.
Locking accessories to jobs in SB. At least I now can store all of them in the glamour dresser, so some use for it at least...
Taking all the best whm skills and making them role actions.
