Not always . I was on a alt on a learning party for Lakshmi extreme on pf. I notice that our main tank was a bad when he says to use discord on that easy fight and didn't tell any mechanics to anyone, also the noob was a little sarcastic. So I was there and told the mechanic for the other tank, for healers and dps. Even with that we wiped one time because people need a time to get it and it's normal. Of course that horrible tank left after one wipe. He was just there to be the first wolf thief. Glad that noob who thinks that are a ''god player'' is just another quitter. After we cleared we did more 7 times to farm wolf. Also that tank should know that on all MMO is a tanker job to explain the fight, if the tank isn't the new one of course.

No, it's not. It's just some weird fallacy that doesn't even have basics in reality in my experience, as I never had a tank RL, even though I play MMOs for 15 years.
Tank is usually the one who knows dungeon tactics the best because players who don't know them are simply too scared to go as a tank.
