I see you're starting to back track on your posts. This is probably due to the lack of thought behind your posts. We've talked about this before. There is just not much going on upstairs.
You have to think about things like:
Will they increase the rate in which we gain company seals? If not, then why spend them on teleports when there are more desirable things to buy? Chocobo Armor, manuals, gear, ect.
If they increase the rate how will that affect the other item's rarity and difficulty in gaining? Will their price need to be increased?
Is the reason for implementing important enough against other planned content and additional systems for FFXIV? If it is easier to teleport using anima, and there are more important things to use company seals on, is it necessary to implement?
Let's use our brains before pointing and clicking. Hmm?
Hurp durp, I already said everything would be adjusted accordingly. Should I use these seals and teleport, or should I walk and save up for that armor. This game doesn't have choices this would at least add some type of choice.

Right, but what is the reasoning? Is it worth it? Also, is the effort in implementing it, however large or small, worth it against other transportation systems already in place and against other things that should be worked on in development. You make ideas, but it's an afterthought. It's not a fully constructed and thought out idea.
I think your way of throwing ideas out it to keep doing so til one is actually considered a good one. lol Which is fine, really, but not entirely something you'd want to be known for.
I don't care how I'm known or how I do things, I think any idea is worth something whether it be bad or good, you can always get something from it.
Well just take a look at airships, people hardly use them even though they are instant, was that a waist of development time? People wanted airship soo bad they added em, but no one uses em, because it's easier to just hit your menu button than walking a few feet to get to the airship.
I use the airship all the time. It's not a "waist".I don't care how I'm known or how I do things, I think any idea is worth something whether it be bad or good, you can always get something from it.

Teleporting? But then, what's my chocobo for? Running to each camp once and cutting the run to where the yellow spot on the map is from 10 seconds down to 5?
You can keep your teleporting. I didn't go through all that crap to get my Chocobo to have it replaced by instant-gratiportation.
Edit: Same goes for airships. Waited for those, and I use 'em.

On Topic: I think the development effort outweighs the negligible difference this would make to anyone.
Aside: All kidding aside, I'm going to give you a piece of legitimate advice. All of the things you complain about boil down to grievances you have with play style. You don't like people giving you grief if you don't want to teleport, you prefer to level differently than other people, etc, etc, etc.
Honestly, sir, the best thing you can do for yourself is to find more people with the same ideas and play with them. Start your own linkshell and all of you can ride chocos across the land and mock us foolish anima users. Maybe look into playing on an RP server, since people there are generally more accepting of self imposed rules. If there are really a ton of people out there that want the same thing as you, then you can all get vocal about these things together and people might take notice. Unfortunately, the way it stands right now you come across as the crazy guy at the park standing on a box and yelling "REPENT, SINNER" at anyone who walks past.
In short, there's nothing wrong with having an opinion on how to play, but instead of shouting at a wall take that passion and make something cool out of it. These threads, not so cool.
I know people use em but overall most people don't. I use em when I can.
@brussel
I was just trying to come up with a way that will keep everyone happy. Because I know its pointless trying to get rid of instant transportation

I like the idea of a signet, and what Rokien is saying goes hand in hand with the warp scrolls(purchased through signet points), outpost warping(purchased through gil) and chamber of passage(Aht Urhgan) staging point deal used in FFXI. They all entailed a means of transportation at the cost of the players points of some sort. It also required you to visit that place first or complete a quest before you could use it. Outside of waiting there is no pressure on players to save thier anima besides running out of it. A signet would also offer another way to purchase the "more desirable items" offered by each grand company. But before you everyone blows up because I used FFXI as an example, I'm just saying that it worked with FFXI and created a feel that you had accomplished something by aquiring all the staging points/teleport crystals and outpost warps. And it wasn't just something handed to you. Also, I don't use airships that much either.
Side note: Seems to me that the real trolls are the people who reply to threads without discussing the point constructively.
