Scorpion Harness Woes

Ok I know the item exists but I swear it doesnt. I've been trying for weeks popping in and out of instances to get this thing to drop but it never does. Is the RNG just that low? Also if the RNG is that low, why aren't they tradable?

It does have a rather low drop rate, but it ONLY drops from the Serket NM in Eureka Anemos so if you're running specifically for that harness it's in your best interest to guide the NM train to Serket whenever her spawn window is up.

I followed the NM train long enough to collect enough Anemos crystals for 3 full sets of Anemos job gear, and in that time I've collected almost a dozen of those harnesses. Some were tossed, others are in storage in the hopes that one day they'll be tradeable so I can send them to my friends and alts who don't do Eureka.

The first of a given item dropped from eureka is always the toughest... And then they'll just drop like hotcakes. I had issues with the harness and pazuzu alter and as soon as I got 1 it felt like I got one every single time after that. Just keep at it and you'll get it eventually.

Thing is, I almost have two full sets of gear and it still hasn't dropped Again I've never seen such a low drop rate. Even XI wasn't this bad. At least we had Treasure Hunter to help :/

Yeah, RNG is a punk. While I’ve gotten lots of harnesses, I’ve only ever gotten two pairs of Strider Boots though it seems the train favors Poly/Simurgh more than Serket. And I got an Emperor Hairpin on my first kill of Emperor of Anemos, then never again since then.


Just keep trying, you’ll get it eventually!
