Getting an error everytime I try to connect on a specific character

I got disconnected from the game earlier today while doing chocobo racing with some friends and haven't been able to log back on this character since. Everytime I try to login I get 'Connection with the server was lost. 90002'. I have no issue connecting to my other character on a different server and one of those friend that was doing chocobo racing with me has the exact same issue at the moment.
Is there any way this issue with my character could fix?

Same here. I've been in limbo since 845am CST. I was in the middle of the Solo-duty Instance, and got booted. Haven't been able to log back in since. Keep getting the 90002 error. I'm on PC, and whatever I'm running in the background doesn't interfere with FF14. Get your crap together Square....

Update. Still stuck in instance loop. Becoming more pissed off....
Update. Been over 24 hours now. Beginning to accept my fate.
Update. Day three, and I am still imprisoned in this cursed place. I have lost faith in the GM's.

Update. Day 5. Told a tool off in anger. No regrets.

I have the same problem as well, but for my alternate character: Tara Knowles. Tried to report it as a bug on my main character, but not sure if they even noticed.

World: Adamantoise
Platform: PS4
Instance: was Sigmascape v1.0 (savage)
Character: Tara Knowles

Everytime I attempt to login on that character I get the 90002 error. On my main character I can login with no problem. I'm scared to touch any content with them though. Because I don't want them to end up in 'd/c limbo' like my alt did earlier this morning, when I was trying to get weekly savage clears out the way for the week.

EDIT: Been over a day. Tried to connect to another data center and reconnect to Aether....still unable to login with alternate character. Uninstalled game, then reinstalled everything....still unable to login with alt. Continuing to get same login error as stated before. Can login with main character and haven't had any issues with disconnects. Not yet anyway (and hopefully never). SE, please help

EDIT: Now over two days, still haven't been able to login with alt character. Sent a 2nd in game bug report and actually see that 'they don't respond to reports.' Just claims of harassment. Can't an in game GM on Adamantoise just move our characters to where they were before going into mentioned instances in which they got disconnected?

EDIT: Problem persists with Alt character...unable to login (w/ Tara) on Adamantoise, but can do so on same server with main character (Kelevra), no problem. Submitted a support ticket and waiting on a reply email from support center. Mentioned that there were others on the official forums with the same problem I'm having as well. But again, still waiting on a reply.

Same as well, got booted from The Vault around 9:00am EST and have since been stuck in 90002 limbo with my main character, Vir Stannum
Made an alt, and the alt was able to log in just fine, so it seems Vir being in the instance when he was booted lead to the loop

This same thing happened to me, i had to have someone log me in from another computer and teleport me out, then it worked fine. Going back into the same zone that crashed me caused it again, necessitating help again. Every patch ive had to reinstall the game (literally) for it to work right....its NOT on my end either.

Can you elaborate on the kind of issue you are having?

Please provide:

- Platform (PC, PS4, Mac)
- the nature of the latency
- Type of connection (wired or wireless)
- Other programs running while the game is playing (if any)
- Everything you have tried to resolve the issue

I have the game on pc 'windows' edition.
I'm not really sure what it is you mean with 'nature of the latency'
My connection to my pc is wired.
Nothing else is running with my game. (I've tried with usual programs running (itune,steam,etc.) and with nothing but game.)
Outside of trying a lot of time to simply get online on this specific character I've tried: From a different computer, restarting my router & modern, force kicking it by connecting from multiple clients.

The problem is not on our ends, it is on the server side or whatever is not our side. The issue is resolved for everyone here by having someone else log in with the char, or a GM moving the char, but the problem will persist (google search shows this exact issue with the (17) problem for example. All of us here have something in common (in the profile).

I find it hard myself to believe the problem would be on my end too. Me and 2 other friends disconneccted at the same time in that chocobo race. One of those 2 friend still have the same issue as me right now and we don't live anywhere near each other (California, US and Quebec, Canada).

Edit: I really think my character has just been stuck in that instance since I got disconnected cause I can log on any other character with no issue.

IMO the problem could possibly be resolved if they flush everyone out as if there was a maintenance, this has happened to me every patch now (4.1, 4.2, 4.3)
