Gathering log, how to fill the ??? for unspoiled nodes

Hi, i have been playing this game for like 5 months and i cant find a way to fill the ??? for unspoiled nodes (lvl 50 - 60 - 70) in my gathering log, is there a way to do this?

My work around is alt +tab and open a web browser to search the time for that node (plus the slot for lvl 70), but this is so unimmersive.

The only way to know for sure is to know the slot. If you truly want to do it without looking up the information, I suppose you could trial and error it.

You can't fill it, unfortunately. You just have to look it up or ask people. I guess it was a system designed to encourage people to cooperate and share information, but these days there's third party tracker sites for everything and no one's going to bother remembering the time and slots for the dozens of different rare materials in the game, so it's just kinda annoying. I wish the gathering log would update with the time and slot once you have successfully gathered that item.

The only thing SE did to really help us out was adding the Endless Toil of ... abilities which performs Toil of ... for free on nodes below our level. Thus, ARR and Heavensward area nodes no longer have hidden items (minor exception for Soils and elemental light seeds).
And, ffxivclock is the best for Miner and Botanist.
