    Synth 1: No bonus, 401 exp.
    Synth 2: +14% bonus, 457 exp.

    401 * 1.14 = 457.14 -> round down to 457.

    The bonus is calculated from the entire amount of exp you'd get if you had with zero quality gain. You are clearly not remembering your numbers correctly.

    Also, if anyone is curious, the bonus % is calculated like this:
    ([Ending Quality] - [Initial Quality]) ÷ 2.5 = Exp bonus % (rounded down)


    I completely agree with the point you're trying to make with this thread. I just don't like seeing blatantly incorrect information being thrown around as fact.

    Yes, you are right, I tested it yesterday myself, must have been sleepy last time.

    It was 250+25=275 for 10% exp bonus.
