The search function turned up either nothing related or too much , so here goes ( Does anyone of the staff read any of this?)

There are a couple of large creatures in the world of final fantasy, that are beautifully designed and would make for excellent mounts without the need for much re-designing in concept and movement. I'm throwing this thread here, so people can leave and support suggestions they favor and maybe , just maaaybe , by some miraclolous hand of fate, it would be put in the loop of possible content someday?
On a sidenote.. a rework of the manta swimming/floating animation would be nice, as it is terribly unrealistic.

My suggestions:
Bloodglider (large red fluffy moth with beautifull designs on the wings)
Simurgh (An odd mix of bug with red/orange patterned bat wings, scorpion tail and Huge mandibles.)
Aldgoat/ Gazelle / Buffalo( or Yak) ( I can't believe they are not in the game yet. SO much better , than elephants.)

I just want an aquatic roulette for mounts that are specifically for underwater travel and don't work on land and definitely do not fly.

If we can tame something like a Tyrannosaurus, then why not a monster like a Chimera? If you want to argue lore, then call it a special bred prototype that the Allagans were working on for their warriors to ride on.

Since my dream of a dumbo mount has been fulfilled, I'd personally like more mechanical mounts like the garlean mini-copters at the start of Baelsar's Wall.
