    Swallow's Compass- Help! it tickles!

    Anyone tanking this notice that mobs dont really hit hard at all? I coulda gone the whole dungeon without grit/defiance AND with big pulls. Seems a little undertuned mobwise to me.

    Not asking they make mobs hit super hard but surely this is a little too much in the other direction?

    Huh you're right, the dungeon doesn't have item level sync like I thought it did.

    It is kind of strange that only the 4.0 level 70 dungeons have item level sync applied, though even the trash in those dungeons hits for rather piddly amounts of damage if you're at the max ilevel.

    Absolutely.

    When I ran it for the first time, the tank pulled 4 or so packs end to end in the knockback tunnel. I went into ‘heal all the things’ mode expecting it to hit like Hells lid but the damage just never came. Largesse regen pretty much covers anything here. Great for DPSing, but awful if you actually want to heal anything. I suspect I could comfortably tank most if not all of this dungeon myseld tbh.

    That's what I tell all tanks when I get in as a healer. "Everything here hits like a wet noodle". I barely have to heal, which well, it's good because I can go full deeps mode!

    They do it so a healer at max ilvl isn't overtaking a tank's enmity at minimum ilvl.

    I don't like seeing post like these.

    Reason, the next time SE puts out content the dungeons get way too hard, mobs have way too much health and spending more time fighting trash to get to a boss.

    Then we have the very same people who post about it gripe that its just as bad as the Aurum Vale afterwards truth.

    People complain about Aurum Vale because it's mechanics can't be ignored. Unlike everything else in ARR, even when synced. Aurum Vale with the command mission squadrun is a laughable pushover because nothing hurts the squad.

    Well I shouldn't say that...

    I was like ... where'd the DPS go and turned around? Did they both decide to step in bad?

    But that's the thing, the game balance hinges on if healing the tank rips enmity from them or not. If there is a constant amount of poison debuffs going on, then the healer is going to put out more healing, and thus rip enmity from weaker tanks much quicker.
