"Ire" means anger, not fear.

Also I'm not sure why you would be wanting to use the name of a real-world country in the title of a fantasy game. There's not even any relevance between it and Sharlayan, other than being loosely in a similar location on the borrowed-from-real-world continent layout. (Though if anything, I'd guess it might be geographically more equivalent to Iceland? Further off from mainland 'Europe', and possibly on a continental plate boundary, as Iceland is, from the look of the island chain.)

IGN posted an article saying SE just filed for the trademark. The last time IGN had a similar article it was several months before NA Fanfest, and guess what, the article was about SE filing Stormblood as trademark name. Sure enough, we're several months away from NA Fanfest.

Yeah. I am guessing a name connected to the Garlean empire and considering the names of the first two expansions were Stormblood and Heavensward I am also going to make the suggestion Shadowhunter. Garlean connected and keeps the naming convention of the first two expansions.

As the story seems to be going in the direction of hunting ascians inside Garlermald, I'd hazard something with Shadow. What name is Gaius using now? Shadowhunter?
