iirc Estinien's eyes are much droopier than the 4.3 Elezen, and he looks a lot different in general, so I doubt it.

People with Echo can switch bodies, Zenos has Resonant which is artifical echo. An Ascian is now in Zenos's body, like how Thancred's body was possessed during ARR by Lahabrea. The real Zenos is in the body of the Elezan.

waaaaaaay back in 2.x when we were trying to stop the sahagin from summoning leviathan we saw the echo-given (or whatever the asian equivalent of the echo is) sahagin leader hop bodies a few times after each host was "killed"

basically

zeno's physical body was killed -> zenos echo/aether/soul jumps ship and he body snatched some unfortunate resistance member -> eldibus hopped into zenos' empty meat suit, had it bandaged up & is now pretending to be zenos
