i don't see why people are defending this mechanic so much, buncha SE defenders... any other kind of mechanic would have been fine, just don't bring numbers into it and ask convoluted questions to form some answer, like i could not tell you the answer even if you asked me in the simpliest way, i'd have to bust out my calculator which i do very very often

Not to sound insensitive, (and I appologize to anyone out there with any disability) but this game is catered to millions of players. SE can’t release content that cateres to each individual. There are other methods for doing this mechanic. Or just die to it and get rezzed

Pretty much, this.

I don't mean to be insensitive either, there's always going to be that one mechanic that just trips you every single time, that you never truly get the hang of, or you always mess up on. It happens to all of us, really. I mean, to this day, there are STILL a couple things about Ravana I could never get (like how to avoid that stupid Tupsaya or whatever that's spelled, the thing that knocks you back three times in a row and does a ridiculous amount of damage). I've tried not attacking him thinking it's a counter-attack (nope), I've tried standing back away from him (nope) I've tried strafing around to his side (nope). Nothing seems to work. I still do this day do not know how to deal with that stupid attack and it always kills, or near kills me as main tank every time.

I might be remembering it wrong, but i thought that mechanic targetted the off tank. So they might just be too close to you. Or i might remember it wrong.
