There are people on Sargatanas touring every house from Eorzean Estates Facebook group and leaving nasty messages in books out of spite because of decorator beef on Facebook. It’s so juvenile. People don’t get the commission so they go to that same house and bash the decorator who got the commission instead of them. This is complete misuse and why there are moderating options. I’ve seen more bad from good with message book so far. This right here is why we can’t have nice things, players take a good thing and misuse it.

This is why they turned on comment moderation. Nasty messages were my biggest beef with the book ahead of time, and they solved that by letting us choose what displays. You're always going to have terrible people, but at this point their 'revenge' is ineffectual, since the estate owner can just delete the comment before anyone sees it. And then they've wasted their "one comment a day", anyway.

Our guestbook has had a few messages from neighbours, friends popping by, but mostly it's the FC using it to leave messages for each other lol

I got my first comment today and it was a really nice compliment to see after kind of a rough day. I was convinced nobody random had ever been in my house, so I guess this proves that's not the case.

I used to know when people went into my old house in Mist. I had a coffin in the basement and would go downstairs and find it open on occasion when I always kept it closed.

Really? Ok, that's odd then. Because I always kept it closed. :/ Wonder of it was just a glitch or something.
