Looking through Tsukuyomi's Pain PFs and having HW war flashbacks nostalgia. Mandatory AST placement has returned, and a large number of groups are dropping the pretense altogether and are back to excluding WHM entirely for SCH/ AST.

Like Sebazy said when a job leaves a party it keeps the slot locked and the PF leader has to fix it.

Not sure if youre trolling or not, but there's not a single PF for Tsuku that has WHM locked out. And I haven't seen any such thing since the patch dropped. Perhaps you stumbled across some guy wanting to speedrun it, in which case yes WHM will be locked out, but that's to be expected.

No, it appeared in clear/ practice groups as well, which was all the more frustrating. Regardless, being expected to tolerate being shut out of certain types of groups because of "efficiency" is part of the problem in itself.

Why is no one else seeing what you are seeing?

If it was a large amount of groups...that is a lot of groups, so is the percent really that high? I haven't yet seen any evidence of it.

That is why it is pretty obvious to me you are exaggerating or lying or both. If a large amount of groups were excluding WHMs entirely then other people would be seeing it and complaining with you....but where are they?

I play WHM too and my issue getting into the new EX primal on WHM is that most groups already have one in it (double stacking same jobs is meh) and I have yet to see a group lock any slots unless it was obviously due to people dropping out of the PF while it was active and locking the slot till the PF leader fixes it as per my joke above about the PF I came across. Other than that I have sent /tells to PF leaders about locked slots and the response is usually "oops, I guess when that person left it got locked I'll fix it"

Also like I said no matter what you "assume" like "oh they were not groups replacing members"...you don't know that unless you ask the PF leader and so far you haven't said you sent any /tells to PF leaders to get context, how do you know as an outsider they were not replacing members? I mentioned another piece of context about ASTs preferring or more skilled in a certain sect as well. Unless you ask you might be making the wrong assumptions.

I look forward to the next patch when AST gets 50% Balance, SCH gets a 30 second Aetherflow cooldown and WHM gets its Holy cast time reduced by 0.5 seconds if you use Cure III three times within 10 seconds.

I've only seen one AST/SCH locked spot myself though I admit I haven't been looking, I think perhaps you're overrepresenting it a bit?

Well from my only-pug exp, group that announce they want to make a perfect meta, no doubles, no noobs or whatever usually don't last more than 3 tries. It's more the group with a simple "kill party" announce that actually get the job done.

Since Tuesday evening, I have yet to see a single group locking out WHM on Aether, even farm groups. Either you're lying or perhaps trying to shift blame onto the job itself after someone criticised your ability to play it.

Who knows? A very small percentage of the player base actually come on the forums, and an even smaller portion are actually from Chaos, and an even smaller portion actively main WHM. I was merely looking for a group last night, and practically all the groups specified AST and several excluded WHM, which I haven't seen since the Great Balance Debacle of Heavensward. Had I not, I would have had no reason to make this.

I think it's fairly obvious when a group is replacing members, it looks similar to the SS you posted. These groups were new, ordered, several roles specified, no gaps in the party list.
