So I'm needing a break from XIII-2 for a minute and just thought I'd do this for fun. If you have your own ideas wishes or wants, feel free to share! I know I saw a painter and mystic knight threadI'm not gonna make up lore for these or class level requirements, just wasting my time xD
Sword and Shield: Gladiator
Job 1: Paladin - Focuses on tanking and protecting members
Job 2: Tactician - Has one of the longest set of combos focuses on DMG
Job 3: Mystic Knight - Can add additional effects to PT members and has high damage, sword slashing, elemental attacks.
Axe: Marauder
Job 1: Warrior - tank and spank, good defense and offense, some aoe
Job 1: Tidewalker - More pirate theme/lore, Lots of solid AoE
Job 3: Lunar Knight - Lunarian taught class (from another world maybe the moon) Enfeebling abilities and weaponskills
Hand-to-Hand: Pugilist
Job 1: Monk - adds damage over time with kick attacks and an additional element to choose from
Job 2: White Monk - Second wind becomes AoE, and other healing/regen aoe abilities that cost tp (chakra etc)
Job 3: Berserker - High damage single target abilities with higher cool downs and some enfeebling side effects
Lance: Lancer
Job 1: Dragoon - DDer with Jumps combos and an elemental attack
Job 2: Legionnaire - This job becomes better by having more abilities with a more varied party. Also adds abilities to others, based on their class, by being in their group.
Job 3: Fell Knight - Spiritual abilities, psychic theme, another DD
Bow: Archer
Job 1: Bard- buffs party members for their increased DD but spends time buffing so less personal DD
Job 2: Ranger - High damage abilities with longish cooldowns but can be used readily through combos, shadowbind always works and has longer duration, good self buffs/eva
Job 3: Shade - Dark themed job, with dark based attacks and HP restoration by dealing damage
Wood based mage weapon: Conjurer
Job 1: White mage - Focuses on keeping the party alive better than everyone
Job 2: Summoner - magic damage and several aetherial beings you have come to know through questing come to your side (similar to primals but not)
Job 2: Avatar - Bind with your party members, your damage output goes far down, but the buffs you can provide your party members with far outweigh it
Adorned mage weapon: Thaumaturge
Job 1: Black mage - focuses on dealing pure elemental damage and some crowd control (sleep)
Job 2: Aldaran - AoE strong debuffs and good elemental damage
Job 3: Carver - Draining spells that effect the entire party by healing them and buffing them
Whip: Vampyr- Learn abilities by level and from enemies
Job 1: Blue mage - additional spells to learn and obtains better damage/extra effects
Job 2: Beastmaster - Charm and call pets from vairous families, good ability/WS system, great at solo
Job 3: Dancer - By having dances active, your spells enhance your party and enfeeble your enemies
Scythe: Lord - Strong AoE based class
Job 1: Dark Knight - Throw yourself into your attacks, losing HP to deal more damage, has dark based abilities like drain
Job 2: Cavalier - Attacks become single target, high damage focused on one enemy
Job 3: Genadier - High damage elemental AoE attacks. Additional effects. michael bay splosions!
Katana: Elementalist - lighter warrior with eva and thief like skills. Able to command nature for debuffs
Job 1: Ninja - stronger magic/debuffs and quick attacks, can dual wield the katana and avoid attacks readily
Job 2: Thief - Brings extra damage based on postion with new weaponskills and can bring in extra drops/gil
Job 3: Martyr - Employs blessings of the Gods for the party
Great Katana: Ronin - all weapon skills combo up to 3. Elements are added to them
Job 1: Samurai - Builds TP at a incredulous rate, additional weaponskills to combo between, all combo up to 4, theme of one who fights demons
Job 2: Hellion - Uses the power of focus, self buffing weaponskills for higher damage per attack, demon theme
Job 3: Touched - very power WS that can only be used in at the end of a 3 combo, and some longer duration self buffs
Pistols: Musketeer - Guns and enfeebs
Job 1: Pistolero - Basically just a more enhanced Musketeer with a Conquistador/Old Spanish/commodore theme
Job 2: Mechanic - Additional of Gadget based attacks. Cid has developped these crazy contraptions
Job 3: Puppetmaster - Duel with your guns while your automaton, specialized in a variety of ways, attacks from another angle
Great Sword: Landsknechte -strong damage and all rounder, like MRD or LNC
Job 1: Hydaer (word for Hydaelyn Knight)- The more enemies you hit with additional AoE attacks, the stronger your party becomes by buff side effects
Job 2: Wielder - Gains TP at an increased rate and attacks faster good combo WS
Job 3: Warder - Similar to Warrior
Fleuret - Fencer - All around class, heals, elemental damage and Weaponskills
Job 1: Red Mage - allowed to cross class several skills and still combo them
Job 2: Fleurist - Tanks by eva/parry and hate skills
Job 3: Scholar - Similar to tactician, huge amount of combos while still having access to Fencer's magic capabilities
As for the coming new mage class Arcanist, aside from the water spell, I dont have a d@mn clue. Well that was a good half hour break. What about you guys, have any fun ideas you look forward to?
