I'm okay with them hiding the skirt (or items like this by default) but they should give us an option to override the auto-hide. That way if we want to deal with the clipping, we can. Heck, some clipping situations could end up looking pretty cool because they clip something just right to make the combination look better.

Just let us make the final call.

Even if that means that it will clip with every chestpiece! I'm okay if the skirt terribly clips through coats, I'll just refrain from pairing it with one then if that means that it could be worn with some gear that would look pretty good with it! I dont care if the frills will clip with 50% of the gear if that means I can combine it with 100% of it instead of only bikinis.

(And yes, the Gryphonskin Shirt works, as does the FemRoe starter gear - doesnt even look to bad, I'd still like tto combine it with a Radz-at-Han-Shirt or some of the other gear)

Thanks for the info! Just found out that the Sky Rat chest, Anemos Suspenders and Anemos Jacket work as well. The last two are not belly shirts and the jacket actually looks nice with the skirt.

They also removed belts from Spring Shirt in this patch. Not sure why we can't have belts/details/Ruffle/skirts, it removes a lot of freedom we have with our glams.

The thing is that if the skirt didn't go into "clipping mode, must disappear", clipping would occur, and then people would make a forum thread to complain that the skirt clips with everything.

I wish it could be worn with more things, but due to the nature of its puffiness, I understand why it can't. And I'd rather have it this way than having no puffy items at all.

As I said... I'd rather have it clip with a lot of gear than not being able to wear it with most gear...

If people must complain because this skirt would clip with a coat, so be it. Thats pretty much on them.
I'd rather have the choice to say "Okay, if I want this not to clip, I need to find proper gear for it" than just having to say "Okay, I cant actually wear this with most things, even those that wouldnt clip (horribly)"

This is so disappointing. I would have rather they made the entire dress a top and given more stocking and sock options. Maybe given some cute ankle or knee socks with the set. I'll be waiting my entire life for socks that are shorter than over the knee or thigh high.
