I posted the same thing in the other thread, but I will reiterate; this is not the quality we expect from SE. If such beautifully designed gear cannot be used in a majority of cases, then it should be addressed properly and not swept under the rug.

Just adding in that I'd also like more options in plain shirts without all the extra... stuff... around the waist or on the sleeves.

I loved that skirt... but I'm going to hold off on getting it until I know I can pair it with something that won't cause it to disappear.

SE still hasn't addressed this issue? You'd think it'd be an easy two second fix compared to other problems (I know nothing about if there are any) in game.

I hadn't said anything about this since I was hoping it would have been fixed in the "hot fixes" patch. Super disappointed that it hasn't been addressed! SE Please fix this one skirt.

not to be a downer but this isn't a quaintrelle's skirt problem.
This has been around for a long time, I know the eastern ladies loincloth and the bunny tights both do the same thing and probably a lot more as well

Sure the bunny tights turning into simple fishnets is likely seen as a good thing but it is the same thing causing it for all of them

Agreed, but I think there's also been a recent change to that mechanic where even minor details on leg gear that once didn't disappear now disappear when paired with things that extend below the waist. Which only makes the skirt problem worse since it literally can't be paired with anything other than a bikini top unless you happen to be a miqo'te or so. It's just one of those cases where it's not a bug, it's a feature, but it's not a particularly good or popular feature so hopefully if people continue to complain about it it'll eventually get treated as a bug and re-worked.

This reminds me of old 2.x (before glamours) issue with WHM bottoms + Allagan tunic of healing (BiS combo) in which the skirt also disappeared.
Imagine having to run around flashing your panties and having no choice, aside from equipping another set.
