Fine, but fix everything else that does the same thing. Storyteller's Bottoms lose their sash with any top that extends down slightly.

I wish they would. I have a very cute miq female alt who is supposed to be ~16-18 and I'd prefer not to have her in underwear every time I want to put a skirt on her - and not just the quaintrelle's skirt. (That being said, the crescent moon bottoms are super cute with the quaintrelle's dress!)

Several patches have passed and they have not wanted to fix this skirt (and many other belts in pants that should not disappear), despite being something so simple to fix, sincerely I have already lost the hope of wearing the skirt in a good glamour![]()

Just a little reminder that the Quaintrelle's Ruffled Skirt still turns into underwear with 95% of tops and that should reeeeeeeally change please.
When you have some time devs :3

They mentioned reclassifying some gear that is set to hide lower body gear for the 2B butt, hopefully that could also make the quaintrelle skirt usable as well.

My take on this is that in the case of the Lightning set, they want you to wear the full set. This doesn't explain why any top that extends below the waist line causes the same issue though..
My old 3D modeling mind tells me it's an issue with bones/slots being used by the top which the bottom can't share since that bone/slot is already occupied.
Glamour is the true endgame indeed. When you want a truly unique set and try to be creative, this is where you run into all the limitations of the glamour system. I stay away from skirts, they just don't work well with anything unless the top is going to be something I don't want, and the good looking skirts that would, dye very poorly or have some annoying leggings attached that don't dye at all.

This isn't true because the long skirts follow the same physics as the robes and don't get cut off. It's literally just an on/off switch they put on items to avoid clipping when they extend past a certain point away from the character. My take on this is that in the case of the Lightning set, they want you to wear the full set. Ah, then I can only say it's laziness with adjusting polys.

The new kupo jacket from those kupo scratch tickets works with quaintrelle's ruffled skirt. As well as the YoRHa striking jacket and the summer indigo shirt - all of them with a little clipping, but not so much that it's too annoying. But the hannish wool autumn shirt still makes the skirt disappear.
It would be really great if you could finally fix this. There are many tops that would definitely work with the skirt.
ZZZz It's still a problem. Come on, SE, fix it. I know you can.
