Controller not working on PC xiv

Hello Villa101 Thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums,

What kind of controller are you using? Has this ever happened before? What exactly do you mean by "it isn't working?" Just to be clear you said it works fine on all other games is this correct?

Technically speaking is a ps3 controller being run though the ps3/ps4 SCP driver for pc. And by not working I mean, I cant move or do anything on screen.

Update though, It works on steam. If I open the app through steam it works, it literally doesn't work when the app is opened by itself though

Edit again: Now its working, I legit don't know what has changed
