Controller not working on PC xiv

Self explanatory, isn't working. It was literally just working earlier, now even when I restart my computer it doesn't work.

It works with other things like steam, just not xiv

What kind of controller are you using? Has this ever happened before? What exactly do you mean by "it isn't working?" Just to be clear you said it works fine on all other games is this correct?

Technically speaking is a ps3 controller being run though the ps3/ps4 SCP driver for pc. And by not working I mean, I cant move or do anything on screen.

Update though, It works on steam. If I open the app through steam it works, it literally doesn't work when the app is opened by itself though

Edit again: Now its working, I legit don't know what has changed

I would also go thru your Device Manager and check to see if your controller has been disabled. You may have to re-enable them should something go wrong as well, cause if your using Windows, it does some strange things...
