I feel like this is something that will be much easier to just let happen over time, rather than actively trying to obtain items to sell.

I just sold off the excess materia and other stuff i got out of eureka lockboxes
just handiing in random lv5 materia I got from 2 EX rouletes before patch & some low (like 5-10gil) extra gather mats got me to 5k/20k, its honestly not that hard I think I mean lv5 materia I just sell to NPC vendors anyway since its droping like rain these days (any lv6, non-DET/Direct Hit/CRT/VIT, thou I keep just to materia mash them in Thanalan for lols to see if he gives me lv6 crafter stuff for MB sale or gifts to crafters I know)
What some see as "distracted" is really "fathoming the unfathomable" - last words from an Ul'dahn Mercurial Chemister at the battle of Carteneau

I just spent Centurio seals on some Ala Mhigan accessories and belts and sold those. They sell for around 1k a piece, and I have no need to trade those in for GC Seals, so why not? Or, similarly, run your daily dungeon roulettes, greed on the drops, and sell those.

There are people that undercut the in-game NPC's with their items on the marketboard, so you can actually buy these items en-masse and sell them to that NPC for quick profit. Or you could just sell the random junk you get over a longer period and get the full worth of the extra money instead of compromising on "commission".

Honestly it seems infinitely easier than rebuilding Hytbold in LoTRO, so I'll take it for now.

What I'm intrigued is that once I reached the first 10k a new short quest unlocked (you know those quests that have the eureka quest icons) completing it said that it will allow for different wares to be sold, but I don't remember if it meant here or at reunion.
WHat exactly means this? Are they implying that we'll be able to alter world with our actions (characters side ofc) Does this means they'll implement this later for different hamlets? Maybe the Saltery will be next?(we kinda have a quest there now)
Imho this can actually be one of the more impactful things of this patch if they are going to capitalize this on what's to come. Even using it in the old world to rebuild some settlements, or heck even the brumes
There's a quest right next to the teleport point in Rhalgar's Reach. If this was added in 4.2 I sure missed it, but it should answer your question on the Saltery. I don't think this is an option, but it would leave room for other places. I think since the Enclave is contained and that is all there is in an area, that it's probably easier for SE to upgrade the enclave that way.WHat exactly means this? It might be easier for a contained area, but there's actually a precedent for a changing area in the overworld too! If you complete the Moogle tribe quests in the Churning Mists, one of the ruins slowly gets restored with each progression of the story.
