    Well its there...I found it medicore at best. Again its something about Allagans..not that a lot of things from the past or that went wrong are either Allagans or Ascians..so not that interesting imo. The scene at the tree is a bit strange too. I dont know these people so I did not really feel anything about the sacrifice and I was more thinking about "wow the tree is not a tree at all.."

    Also no real lore reason why we got help from our animal friends either..

    Honestly PotD had a way better story because we had ties with the people in this...

    A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.

    I have to admit, the whole "for those who come after" line from the hologram had me rolling my eyes for a bit...might as well read the script in front of us, hologram guy totally not fortelling our arrival...
    Makes me wonder if the Gelmorrans w (ere also part of the same brotherhood that just didn't get the help they needed to keep the POTD out of the wrong hands. It would be a lovely bit of Duskwight lore if true. (Pomanders are a Duskwight invention, after all.)
