My character came from Rune-Midgard after Hydaelyn winessed his ability to lay low the gods of his realm and his prowess over others... tho his eyes of the faithful are once again whole, he still bears the scar over his right eye where Samurai Specter tried to end his conquest of the Endless Tower with a last second Soul Destroyer...
My character was out picking up bodacious babes and while hitching a ride to Ul'dah some old guy started talking to him about aether and adventuring. People just keep hitting me up with things they need help with, and he's a helpful guy so he pitches in.
his true purpose has not changed however.
Hot. Fire. Ladies.
I worked as a janitor in The Great Gubal Library even tho I felt like I was smarter than most of the people that went there. Sometimes I would see an equation on a blackboard or half of an equation and I would figure it out for the lulz.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the tiny-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will allow it to pass through me and over me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
She is a Blank with no memory of the life before she was on the ship to Limsa. Becoming a adventurer was her only choice to learn more about the world and to find why she is in this world.
Leonard “Julian” Dusk was a pretty reclusive guy. He decided it was time to make some friends. For some reason he went to Limsa Lominsa instead of a closer town. He never knew he’d become some sort of hero.

TL,DR:
Duskwight dude. Parents were bandits and died in a botched ambush when he was about 15.
His young adult brother Gaspard took him to Gridania where he tried to make it as a member of the lancer's guild, hoping to live a honest life and quit stealing for good, but in spite of his skills the guild treated him as cannon fodder. He died when Hiver had barely made it into adulthood.
Fed up with their hatred for outsiders, and for his race in particular, Hiver decided to leave Gridania and worked odd jobs around La Noscea for a couple of years, trying to live a honest life as his brother had hoped. It became particularly rough after the calamity, so he became a freelance mercenary until his life returned on a good track, mostly thanks to the event of the main storyline.
I may or may not have written this draft when I was thinking of getting into roleplaying (and then gave up).
Aster was found as a baby by a troupe of traveling performers. The troupe tried to find the infant's real family, or at least provide her with one, but they ended up naming her, and Aster kept finding ways to return to them instead of staying at a random orphanage. She grew up with a love for both performances and helping others, but was unsure what to do with her own life, since being a permanent member of the troupe didn't feel right.
One day, someone who saw half of Aster's limited number of performances sent her a letter saying how they wished adventuring had more perks like Aster's performances, so she thought, "You know what? I'm going to travel the world and become an adventurer. Let's see what this brings me."
What Sari Sebari lacked in height he made up for in dreams and ambitions. Coming from a home where death and illness was all too prevalent, he came to Gridania in the hopes of becoming a Conjurer to learn how to cure the sick and better the lives of those who needed it. All these hopes were dashed against the rocks when he took up adventuring to make ends meet.
He took up the drink in order to cope with the sheer stress of keeping almost-suicidal Lancers and Archers alive, let alone the Marauders who would charge into clusters of ferocious wildlife equipped with nothing but a blade strapped to a pole and leather underwear for protection.
After a particularly dreadful day of keeping some adventurers of questionable intelligence out of the jaws of death he waddled out of the Carline Canopy, teetering on the edge of an alcohol-induced coma. He was so inebriated he could legally be classed as vodka. Sari Sebari was unable to walk straight and was edging dangerously closer and closer to the Jadeite Flood. Out of nowhere, a very faint "kupo" echoed through the forest and a very hard thud was felt by Sari Sebari. Whether this fluffy guardian made a conscious choice to spare this poor Lalafell or just accidentally smacked into him is unknown, but before he passed out he could barely make out the figure of a moogle hurriedly flapping away into the trees.
After waking up with a splitting headache and his robe stained by his own vomit, Sari Sebari vowed to not let his second chance go to waste. From that day on Sari Sebari would always wear moogle-themed attire as a tribute to that moogle who saved his life. He also snapped his wand in half and became a Thaumaturge because burning things alive was less stressful than keeping things alive.
Feral Savage (main) was quite literally raised by wolves. He’s loyal to a fault, uncompromising, outspoken and brash. He doesn’t know who put him on that carriage to Gridania that day, but if he ever finds them, he’ll rip out their intestines and use them as a jump rope.
