FFXIV Boot Error - Unable to Complete Version Check [30605][504]

The Lodestone post link you shared comes up at "The page you are searching for has either been removed, or the designated URL address is incorrect." And at first the times were off on your forums, when I first looked at this forum post it said everything was Yesterday with the OP starting at 8:41 PM and yours was at 1:41 AM, now that I logged in to reply it has updated the times to show Today 7:38 AM and last post before mine at 12:41 PM. Just a bit of an oddity with that, might make it hard to find current info if the times aren't displaying correctly.

So to clarify could you give a date along with that 3 AM PST timer for the maintenance being done? It is currently 1:45 PM EST on 5/21/2018, are you meaning it'll be finished on 3 AM PST 5/22/2018?

The maintenance is scheduled to end 3AM 5/22/2018 PST (That's what I meant by 3AM tomorrow).

The forums use Japan's time zone I believe, so the time of the post isn't exactly accurate to where you are on the east coast. Maintenance should end for you at 6AM 5/22.

I hope that cleared up some confusion.

The update this time is large and complex so it is going to take 24 hours to complete. You should be able to update once it is complete. See you in Eorzea.

I got the same error. Think it is maintenance, nothing more. Well, we will see tomorrow latest xD

I am having this issue as well and uninstalled. I hope its fixed after patch. It was happening for me 2 hours before maintenance started though.

Its the first time they did shut down the update server (or did close the firewall to it), so I can understand the reactions.

In every earlier patch you got at least into the launcher, which showed the maintenance message to you.

On top of that the error message is ... to just pop this error message without an understandable plaintext description is a bad design choice.

Oh just came to post about this. Was thinking about playing a bit before the servers goes down didn't realize it was a 24 hour downtime. Well at least I know now! Guess i'll try again tomorrow after work.

I thought maintenance was 5/21 later tonight? I am also getting boot error 30605 504.
