So what IS the Viera race?
The Viera are a humanoid bunny race that first appeared in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance" and popularized in FFXII, to those unfamiliar with the race.

People have long been saying they wanted the Viera race to come back, while others just want the former to shut up about it, sadly I myself am one of the former. Since the announcement of "Return of Ivalice" people are practically begging Square Enix to put their beloved bunny race into Final Fantasy once more. After all, how could you put the home of a race into a game without the residents of said race?

Before the making of the Au Ra, the DEVS made a few character concepts of the Viera for FFXIV already, though in rough drafts. http://imgur.com/a/ppAa0qX
