Your Favorite Melee Character?

More of a fun thread this time.

Which class is your favorite melee class and why?

ANY melee class, Tank or DPS. Note I'm not asking which is best... though that could be one's definition of most fun.

So far I've only dabbled with two; Gladiator, (lv 7), & Rogue, (lv 11). I'm enjoying the Rogue more because I really love the attack animations of the whopping TWO attacks I have thus far, lol. Plus I thought the lv 10 Rogue quest, mostly relying on Hide, was a bit different and cool.

I plan to dabble a bit with all classes, and being an eye candy junkie... I'll likely fill my time with what turns out to be the weakest Melee class, but looks the coolest while sucking, lol.

So, your turn... which Melee class rocks your socks?

Melee classes aren't really my thing, which a glance at my lodestone profile will be obvious. But out of all of them, the rogue is my favorite pre-jobs at 30 and dragon after that. I like the relatively fixed rotation with slower gcd and not having to press a thousand buttons per minute. Thematically it is also the one I like best, because big weapons equals smexy.

I used to hate Gladiator, but it's really grown on me over time. It's now my second
I don't have much experience with the other melee classes, but I do like Dragoon.

For years playing mmo, my favourite melee is always classes with dual weapons/daggers. So in this case, Ninja (Rogue)! I always find dual wielders look cool in terms of skill animations. There is also the sense of satisfaction executing combos with dual weapons. Although I have to admit I'm not really good at it in this game.

Bonus point for this class is the increase movement speed. Walking feels less of a drag whenever I play Ninja. ))

Another melee that I like aesthetically is Dark Knight. Would love to play it someday.

Paladin, Warrior, Dragoon and Samurai are my favorite melee classes.

Dragoon is making a very strong case for me right now, having fooled around with all of the classes to at least some minimum degree. Pugilist/Monk following close behind, just because of how it flows.
