    A few things I'm glad about whilst still skeptical.

    -Being able to skip the formality that is bronze-gold. League doesn't make me do this, and neither do several other ranked games, they let me start near enough to where I was the season before. So it's nice to see it here. I share the concern this will harm the lower end of queues, Feast is still far from attractive to play to warrant this, but it's worth a trial.
    -Cover has been left unchanged in its' current state and is a bigger game changer than anything else right in Feast. You can now, however, hard CC a PLD with a bind and it'll actually not break when someone near him sneezes. Is 2 seconds enough though? Especially when tri-bind has been removed and repelling shot puts BRD horribly out of position? Remains to be seen.
    -There is now no real reason to bring a SMN, at all. For the sake of damage up just bring any other Range that'll gladly make up the missing damage. Energy drain should be changed back.
    -Going straight into S8 without some meaningless long pre-season where nothing changes.
    -500hp making a PLD more vulnerable during Cover? Really? You sure? I ditto Lloyds suggestion to just give it a small CD and call it quits. Good PLDs will be rewarded with intelligent covers, and the job will still be very good just because of still having that ability and yet still retaining a ranged silence which is almost as dangerous as how strong cover is. Please look at the combination of their overall toolkit when trying to make an informed decision on what to do with Cover, I don't think -500hp was really the answer. Don't take the easy way out and gut the job either.
    -Ninjas damage has always been excellent and what they've missed has been covered by their insane control which rewards good NINs. The problem has always been their burst windows take too long to get to, I feel this has somewhat been fixed.
    -DoT & AoE actions will never be important for as long as Healers potencies are so high. The meta will still be burst. If this wasn't the case, SMN would be the best ranged by far.
    -After losing sleep, BLM definitely needed a potency nerf (I'm joking by the way). BLMs should be rewarded for good positioning, especially on the map changes which make it much more difficult for them.. (ignore - just seen Night Wing, please bring back ST sleep)
    -WAR still can't compete with DRKs damage or PLDs support. The changes mean you're trying to fix this, but the reality is the class was gutted by so many skills being removed. Increasing their mobility or giving them some form of AoE support spell would really go a long way to giving tanks a real choice between the 3. Something similar to Troubadour would be nice, but that'd probably make a BRD/WAR/NIN/AST combo far too powerful.
    -Still no changes to light medals. They punish good teams for being ahead early. With the respawn, a healer dying because you can't kill anything as all of them have light medals and them being sent back to spawn or being forced to camp it is crazy and unfair. Please revisit this, this is arguably a bigger issue than ANYTHING else in competitive play right now.
    -SE are trying to find the middle ground between our feedback and not outright breaking the game, we think we know best but sometimes we really don't, and any changes are better than no changes because it does mean to some extent they care. This can only get better.
