Agreed.

I feel like the MP pool amount and it's off-kilter numbers are a legacy of the more erratic MP values and management from HW where the Darkside MP drain and more seemingly random ability costs were just a wonky part of the job. Then when they streamlined the MP value, costs and usage of MP with Stormblood they sort of forgot to adjust the foundation piece of it all, the MP pool total.

Having the MP pool be a much cleaner division of the MP value/cost that most of the kit is based around, 1 DA/TBN, just seems like a no-brainer.

This is such a simple fix that it could easily be slipped in with the upcoming patch. Just please do it along with removing the Grit requirement for the Soul Eater heal SE! These are such small, easy to implement QoL fixes that will really help the job out.
