More like they want to put it out, then we can give feedback. If we go through it and hate then we can really send a message that it's a bad idea. There's many things going on with this patch that I'm too tired at the moment to address, save one, because you're never too tired to vent. Soooo... All greed alliance raid is still being pushed out, huh? Not enough people screaming no to this change for the people in the back to hear, I guess. Good thing I spammed LotA for a couple or so days straight to get the glamour gear I wanted from there. Thanks for making new gear pure hell to obtain, SE. Really. Thanks. :\
The thread against it has over 222 likes. People are mostly against it, at least on the forum, so why even try it out if you notice that maybe its not that liked? Forums may not be the majority but I do believe that they can show a directions things can go. If they never plan to change anything before it gets live why even ask us for feedback or tell us about this before it happens?
I have a hard time believing that they would change it afterwards if they dont already listen to our feedback beforehand..maybe only if the Japenese forum explodes about it..
Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
