I want to stop playing like trash on Monk

So...I recently, over the last month, went back to my original job, Monk. Hadn't touched it since 3.56 when it was at level 60. I'm not nowhere near where I want to be, especially when I do have decent gear. I am asking for folks to look at my logs and tell me what exactly I'm doing wrong. I mean, I have an idea, but I am openly asking for help on this, because I am tired of playing like trash. I saw this on my V5S clear today that I just suck. So, if you would please, just take a look and help me out?

Oh, and don't worry about being blunt. I wouldn't be asking for help if I wanted things sugarcoated. I will note that I also only know of the standard rotation, not the opener using Wind. I am aware of the Balance discord as well, but I'm just wondering what exactly I'm doing wrong that makes me play like garbage. Thank you in advance.

The only parse I was able to find of you on monk is on o5s, but here's what I found:

1 - You used TK 4 times, only one of which was during a buff window. TK is a significant DPS loss if not used during your RoF/Brotherhood window.
2 - You're not hitting many buttons. Are you losing a ton of uptime? On a fight that was 30 seconds shorter I had 73 more casts of abilities. That's a 5.9% shorter fight where I did 26% more button presses.
3 - You used Fire Tackle 3 times in almost 9 minutes. FT is just free potency and damage. Use that baby on cooldown. In fact all of your oGCD skills aren't being used as often as they should be.
4 - You used Twin Snakes 5 more times than Dragon Kick. Those are generally used in tandem, and while being off by 1 or 2 is fine (or even normal) 5 is quite a bit.
5 - Even regarding number 4, you had about a 65% uptime on Twin Snakes. That should be a looot higher, like >80%.
6 - True North is worthless in that fight, as aside from the adds (who you should just Rockbreaker) everything there is omnipositional.

Mostly it just seems like number 2 -- you're not hitting as many buttons as you should be. Practice using your oGCDs and don't hesitate to hit your GCDs. If you're using any macros, stop.

No, I'm on PS4. No macros here (on account that I really don't know how to set them up properly for DPS stuff). I think I had some panic moments because of how the fight was going - bad spotlight positioning by others, mostly.

Basically what Powercow said. + Maybe, for starters stick with the "no TK" rotation, to get to pressing buttons on time. I was able to get a lot better when someone pointed that out to me.
just learn the regular rotation, and practice double weaving in the RoF window.

What i personally do (and I am not great at monk anyway) is, every time I am queuing for things, i just keep hitting the striking dummy - practicing my GCD rotation with OGCD presses, not really doing openers or anything. To have the main rotation engraved into my muscle memory, so I do not have to think about the side/rear combo alternation.
