But in the game current state, i would take anything over what we currently have now.

    I say this and ill say it again.This game was supoused to be about freedom of choice.I have never felt more restricted in any other game before.

    What makes this debate really difficult is the fact that you have no clue what you're talking about. You're asking to widen the soft caps essentially making the already implemented formulas more complicated to be more content? Also there will be some MAJOR balancing issues with this.

    Instead of blaming Physical Levels, I say blame Classes. Way too much of the stats we have are based on what class we are playing.

    There is no reason by on my Conj when I have over 100 vit I should have the same amount of MP as HP when my magic stats are at 40.

    Instead of throwing all the burden on classes for how much defense is, the game should have Defense, HP, etc based on VIT. Accuracy, Evasion, Parrying, etc Rates should be based on DEX. STR should help with Blocking (and the amount of damage you can block), Damage, etc.

    Minimum and/or Maximum you need to cap out in returns. There is no need to add more points on a certain skill if you get no more returns on it, therefore you can put it somewhere else.

    I didnt say it was easy, and is why i would prefer the system scrapped.if they arent good enough to balance it, they toss caps.
    The game is built around caps , some necessary , some really absurd.I dont like systems developed this way.It feels dirty D=.
    I sure have no idea what im talking bout im not a game developer.But i certainly , like i said before , never been so restricted.

    While having 174 Vit may not decrease the damage you take by much, but it still inceases your HP more than having just 100 Vit. Also, It makes you a better Armorer, Carpenter, and Tanner, as all their main hands use Vit.

    Min/maxers are people who optimize their skills for their gameplay style, the term stems back from tabletop games where people would take penalties to some stats that they usually would never use to maximize the ones that they would use more often, there was it that hard to answer him?

    I just put VIT as an example , since is the only proven stat cap along with mnd based on hp/mp.How much does stats really help DoH is debatable, i been leveling bunch of crafts with stats only on vit and str.personally , i see no difference.
