Mailbox and aetheryte

Please remove the mailbox and aetheryte from the yard furnishing category, and move them to immediately outside a plot's border as fixtures. This seems more logical than using them as furnishings, as nearly every player will have these at their house anyway. Furthermore, for many players this extra two furnishing slots would make a great difference in arranging their yard.

I use the mailbox as a yard decoration so still want to be able to place it in the yard where I wish. I agree on the aetheryte and don't even see why it is needed at all to port to my house. If I didn't have to have the stables in the yard to train my chocobo that would be great as well. I don't see why there couldn't be community stables near each MB that you rent for the use of.

I too keep my mailbox as close to the perimeter as possible, but many people put their mailboxes in various locations in their yard. I couldn't agree more about the aetheryte though. I currently have mine hidden underneath an Expanse Fountain. I suppose the logic behind needing an aetheryte to teleport to your own home is so that it makes sense when friends are able to teleport to your house as well.

but i agree with just adding them, as well as chocobo stables as a permanent fixture (the awning idea is perfect for that)

Add them as a housing feature but leave the yard items in case people do want to use them. Make them optional; just like roof decorations. If you don't want to add it, don't.

My mailbox is just off to the side of my front door, but I wouldn't mind them adding a mailbox "slot" where you can put different types of mailboxes, like you would an awning, windows, etc.

I'm a little torn on this. I'd agree it makes more sense that teleport to house should be automatically included, much as it is for apartments. Is there anyone who actually uses their house that doesn't have one?

But I also use the Miniature Aetheryte for lighting effects in my yard so I I would hate for it to go away as an actual item or have it "baked" into a specific location in the yard as a fixture like the awnings. Riviera Path Light + Sahagin Living Lamp aren't quite the same effect, especially with the Path Light only glowing in the ET PM hours.

I wouldn't want my stable to be moved to the awning, it would ruin the layout of my garden.
