SCH Pet Adjustments 4.3

Hello world,

We know SCH's are getting some pet adjustments. What do you guys think they will be? I am not expected anything huge, however, we all are aware of the delays with the pets. Can be quite annoying. I think the change will be no more automatic embraces. That could seem weird to some but I think it will be a great change. No more automatic embraces means the pets may respond better to other pet abilities like whispering dawn, fey union etc etc... What do you guys think? Even if they implemented the auto embrace when the sch heals someone like they do in pvp. That could be amazing too. What do you guys think?

I doubt they would do that, would go against everything they stand for from a game design standpoint (ie: casual friendly).
I also don't think it'll be anything to do with stopping embrace casts when you use a skill as that would be a pet overhaul and not sch specific.

Currently I think the faeries need to use auto embraces between manual casts which is a little annoying. Maybe they'll correct this.
It could also be a change to which skills kill the faerie. Some fights you just can't realistically place her down in the arena (byakko) so maybe it's an improvement to that.
Another idea is that they may change shared cooldowns between fairies. Would make more sense to have silent dusk on the fey illumination cooldown for instance.
The fairy might also follow her fey union target? Though that seems a little more involved.

It has to be changes to Fey Union, as any pet usability changes would also effect SMN, so they wouldn't specifically mention SCH only.
And I do believe Fey Union needs some changes. It should activate faster and the CD when turning it off needs to go away.

I guess the fairy will respond faster and change her priority when we use a fairy skill.
Works for Fey Union as well.

Otherwise, I don't what else could be done.

I interpreted it as Selene adjustments, since Selene is so far behind in the power scale compared to Eos. I guess we shall see. Not quite sure what they would do to Selene specifically if this was the case, but anything is probably better then it is in her current iteration.

I kinda don't want to believe they'll be messing with Selene. Even though I know it's badly needed, SCH really doesn't need more raid utility on top of what it already has.

I'm kind of hoping they make Embrace an instant cast. It seems like an easy enough change to implement to ensure there isn't much delay when we use a pet action. That should hopefully stop Fey Union from taking a decade to take effect as well.

Selene adjustments would be great too, however I have a feeling that would be more buffs than adjustments. Though 'usability' is a bit vague, so who knows.

Hopefully the fairies won’t share the dusk and fey cd, also I wish they would respond quicker lol nothing worse then the skill going off after you needed it i.e. the magic defense skill for eos.... but for them to do that they will have to do the same for SMN pets since the issue is just pets AI in general
