Ps4 white load screen can't access any ffxiv related services

This problem started after the 4.3 special site was updated on 5/4/18 prior to the last live letter. I can't access the game on my ps4 using my Verizon Wi-Fi hotspot I also can not access any websites regarding ffxiv so I can't even get on the lodestone.
I've tried to reset everything I've tried connecting to the lodestone on 5 different cell phones using Verizon wireless and can not! I just resubscriced and now I'm in fear of losing my house on ffxiv and also my subscription period...
I can play other online games while using my ps4 I can also access other websites using my cell phones but nothing to do with ffxiv...
Several people on Reddit have this problem and several people even on these forums as well please help!!!

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

I'd like to get some more information about your connection.

You mentioned that you are using a wifi hotspot to connect. Are you tethering your phone to your PS4 to connect to the game?

    Please provide:

    - Type of connection (wired or wireless)
    - Other programs running while the game is playing (if any)
    - Frequency
    - Everything you have tried to resolve the issue

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!

That happened to me too once. Once I changed my internet provider, for whatever reason, the game simply wouldn't load anymore. Got always stuck at the white screen. That went on for days.

I had to manually change my DNS settings to fix it. I've been using Google's DNS settings ever since. 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.

I am tethering my ps4 to my cell phone.
No other programs are running that I am aware of.
I have turned off my mobile data turned out back on, reset my cell phone, turned off my cell phone, turned off my ps4 tried a different cell phone to use. That's all trying to connect my ps4...

The weird thing is is that I can't even access any websites that involves ffxiv since May 4th 2018..
I also reached out and had other people who have Verizon cell phones and they can't access the lodestone either while on verizon wireless...

Hello Kluaf, Thank you for your response.

Although we do not recommend using tethering as a permanent connection. Is it possible for you to connect using a different connection? Here is what I would also suggest to try.

The issue you are describing is most associated with interference with the game data. Most of the time, it results from certain security/privacy changes on PSN web browser. Please make sure that "Cookies" and "JavaScript" are ENABLED on the PSN Browser. This can be done by going to the web browser on the PS4, press the options button, then go to settings. The options for Cookies and Javascript will most likely be checked, uncheck them and then recheck them.

The fault may also lie with the "Date & Time" settings on your PlayStation 4. We would advise to please follow the provided steps to adjust your console's clock to assure it is accurate and up-to-date:
Close the FINAL FANTASY XIV game/application.
Go to [SETTINGS] on your PS4.
Select [Date and Time], and "Set via Internet". (Please do not manually set the date and time.)
Once, the date and time settings have been updated, please restart your PlayStation 4 console.
Once your console has fully restarted, please start the FINAL FANTASY XIV game/application.
Please make sure all other internet-enabled devices (including smartphones, laptop/desktop PCs, tablets, etc.) have been disabled and/or turned OFF to minimize game interference.

If the suggestions provided above do not resolve the issue, then there is a communication error. (Not the same as a connection error.)
Check the following Port Ranges on your router/modem to ensure that the following Port Ranges have been opened/forwarded/triggered:
    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040

If you have properly configured your router, and you are still experiencing these issues, our next suggestion is to bypass the router, and connect your console directly to your modem. Please ensure that you power down both the modem and the console for at least five minutes before attempting to connect to FINAL FANTASY XIV.

If you continue to receive these same errors when you are connected directly to the modem, then the problem lies with your ISP. We would recommend contacting them and advising them that one or more of the ports previously provided to you are being blocked or filtered, and that you do need access on these ports.

    Hope to be of assistance.

I just got off the phone with Verizon and they can assure me that since I'm able to get on any other website besides anything related to ffxiv the problem lies within your web servers...

Well whatever she did after the call took care of the problem... At least as far as accessing ffxiv web pages via Verizon wireless....
