    Each their own Limit Break

    It's kinda annoying that no one allows you to LB because everyone wants to use the damage dealing sort of Limit break. In previous Final fantasies all our characters had their own seperate LB. So plz bring this back to FFXIV by also giving us all a seperate bar so it fills up a little slower, but everyone gets to use their LB seperately without anyone getting annoyed about it!

    Healer LB is extremely valuable during progression. Rather than completely changing the intended use of LB I'd rather they work on making ranged/caster and tank LBs more viable, which they have already done for some fights.

    I'm not asking to completely change the use of the LB. I'm just asking to seperate the LB's from others so everyone gets to use them.
    I don't consider it extremely valuable as right now people still screw up even after the use of one LB. Even noticed some LB's don't even cause damage at all.. (meaning they are weak).
    So as far as multiple LB's from DPS go... if stored for bosses 6 LB's would prolly only cause 6% hp to go off... 12% if your lucky.
    As far as the healer and tank LB goes... a minor adjustment could fix this issue. Have their LB lose strength depending on how many full bars other players in your party have at the moment you use it.
    So if people have less full bars, less people get rezzed by the healer LB (random) and the tank LB will give less damage reduction. Problem solved.

    I get what the OP is saying. I think it would be kinda cool if everyone had a separate bar that essentially activated a Trance mode when you fill it out that gives the player perhaps some buff, enemy debuff or other possibilities. Of course the standard group LB would still be there, but Trance could be a little something neat to add.

    Thats another way of putting it. Adding diffirent effects to each LB, while still keeping the shared LB would be awsome.
    Giving the seperate LB's a weaker result but still very usuable.

    No because then they would need to buff the HP of all content to balance for the fact that everyone would have their own LB, which would be additional free damage. Secondly it wouldn't make anything easier because of the aforementioned rebalancing, so it simply becomes another cool down to manage. To that end, what would be the difference between giving a DPS their own DPS LB vs giving them a powerful oGCD with a long recast, e.g Dragon Fire Dive, or Contre Sixte or Midare Setsugekka? Those are powerful skills on cool downs, why can't you just imaging that those are "LB"? Or do you want actual skills with a cast bar that do high damage? Again I don't understand why, as it just becomes another thing to manage and use off cool down, another button to press, at that point it just becomes another cool down to use 1 or 2x per fight. Instead just think of Natrond, Contre Sixte, Midare Setsugekka, and other powerful cool downs as "LB"

    You mean like Life of the Dragon, Huton, Greased Lightning, Overheated, Enochian, Dread Wyrm Stance, Darkside, Deliverance?

    giving everyone unique lb 1,2 to be more like 3 sure
    it is silly that monk whips out a buster sword

    right now LB is pretty useless and not usefull like you try to bring it because in 70% of the cases people activate LB too soon, they use the wrong LB or waste it on a mob instead of the boss. Only in 30% of the cases LB gets used correctly.
    I find it wrong that a 8 player party gets to see their LB get wasted because the random player they happened to end up with is too ignorant a bout how the system works (or too selfish) to care or understand how they should be used.
    On that end I think it wouldn't be wrong if SE made it the way it was supposed to be. So EVERYONE gets to contribute and EVERYONE except for yourself is allowed to ruin theirs without completely wasting the entire teams chances.

    As a FFIX fanboy, I wholeheartedly support this idea.

    Would you go as far as giving them their own unique abilities during said trance, like Dyne for Zidane?
