I find it strange that the only critters are the ones we kill for exp. there are no regular fauna such as Birds large cities, forests, plains mountains and deserts but no sparrows, bluebirds etc, is this hard to do?

In the starting areas there is a plethora of non-aggressive fauna. And I'm pretty sure there are birds and stuff flying around in the sky in some places. Imo, it doesn't add much to the game to have them.
Nonsense I agree with Arourie, games such as these are known for their complexity.
Hearing birds and actualy seeing some fly around and land on objects randomy would be awsome as it give you the feel like you are in the game for real.
I would find it odd if SE can't add a few birds that randomly fly around and land on objects every 30 or 60 seconds to remain in their position till someone comes too close.
I agree with any idea that improves how you feel when in a game.
And I realy don't care when people start moaning "oh but it takes work and we don't want to work" because we all know that without working hard, nothing will ever be an achievement worth talking about.
