Disable player "glow" effects?

Hey all,

So I have been playing since release and have always wanted/wondered: Could we get a graphic option to remove player glow effects?

I find it highly distracting to have the constant glow on some classes such as Warrior's Rage status, Dragoon's Blood of the Dragon, Black Mage Umbras, etc... We have many other great options for graphics option but nothing for this yet. Another reason is also that we have the job gauges which cover these effects for duration now in SB, so it seems like nothing but extra clutter on your character during battle. Also, some of the effects like for Warrior even continue outside battle.

This I think I would be a great QoL change at this point in the game's life and a great choice for players who have issues with all the graphic effects and improving their user experience.

I dissagree with disabling too much effects but I agree that there should be an option to put those effects on low so the glow will be weak to the point where it will no longer distract you.

But to that point, they already let players disable almost everything for effects, which many players do for certain content, and which DevTeam doesn't have a problem with it. Its almost as if the effects were forgotten.

I don't mind them adding more options to keep people into account that can't purchase an acceptable pc.
I've been in the position myself where I had to play games on low settings for 5 years due to money shortage.
So if its not too much work to pull off.. I don't see why they shouldn't add this option.
