My dream mount is coming in 4.3 so I'm pretty much all set.

Am I the only one who's disappointed that Alexander's Cruise Chaser boss (in hoverboard form) never became a mount?

Magic carpet
That's clearly a joke for reasons, one of them being immersion breaking. That said, the FFXIII Eidolons were all variations on vehicles/mounts, so going "well that's ridiculous" is kinda old hat for the Final Fantasy series.I don't see a thread for this. Anyway, you know how this goes. What mounts would you like to see? Include any special behaviours or attributes you'd like included.
Cloud's Motocycle
The one shown as a joke years ago.
The game clearly is in need of a party-size mount. The Airship should be this but the world maps are just not large enough to justify this when teleports are cheap. I want a large airship, eg the size of the ship at the beginning of Dun Scaith.
Though perhaps some kind of ground-only mount would be suitable. Like 4 people inside the cabin of a horse/chocobo-drawn carriage, two on the front, two on the rear. When summoning the mount as party lead, it automatically puts everyone in it without prompting them. Let's just call these "party mounts"
Another option is the Regalia from FFXV, though I think, like the FF7 Cloud's bike, would be too immersion breaking. The Garleans are the ones with the high-tech stuff, while the rest of Eorzea has steam-era type of technology. Like even the Airships are rather anachronistic, though when you build one with the Ixal it kinda becomes evident that the Airships run on Aether as Ceruleum.
Maybe some kind of chain-mount feature could be done while in a party, where "summon X mount and follow party leader when leader summons a mount" could be done.
