    Made wrong purchase

Hi, I made a wrong purchase of the game in EU which should have been NA. I realized this after attempting to input the activation code. Is there a way to switch the code to another region or could I get a refund?

P.S: I have already submitted a support ticket but there wasn't any reply so I came here.
P.S: I also realised that this is probably not the best place to put this to get help but I can't post over at the other forums.

    Appreciate all relevant responses thanks.

If it wasn't bought from the square enix store you're probably SOL. Even if it was, you might still be SOL. The sales on the software are final, and once a code is given, it isn't generally refundable because there's no way that once it's given, they can stop someone from activating it. You might have to find somewhere and just sell the code, and eat the cost to get the US one.

If it was immediately bought then they might be ok, Last year I bought a copy of FFXI seekers of adoulin accidently when I should have bought the complete edition, and SE happily swapped the codes, changing regional codes should be even simpler.

Hello plaide, Thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums

Unfortunately there isn't anything we can do about your specific issue being all codes and accounts are region locked. I would suggest trying to contact store support regarding you issue to double check if anything can be done.

    Hope to be of assistance.
