Can you not read the English on the slides during the LL?

It sucks that additional detail requires waiting for the digest or going to a 3rd party, but you will absolutely know all of the features/additions coming just from watching the LL.

I'm not sure why you're on some crusade against better communication to non-JP players.

If live TLs and equal treatment to all players are not possible as-is, then the method of delivery should change. Roughly 2/3 of the playerbase are not playing on Japanese servers and I would wager that a good majority of that 2/3 do not understand Japanese.

Reading lines on a power point as someone explains those points in-depth in a language you don't understand means you get the information without the insight that's being provided. That's hardly helpful unless you only care about if something is confirmed to be happening or not. Power Points exist to keep the main talking points on screen as the presenter provides details that substantiate those points- slides alone do not give the full benefit of the information being shared.

The very least they could do is record it and translate it, then release the video with subtitle options. Or have live translators listening in on the conversation and translate as it's happening. Or prepare a summary of what they know ahead of time and release a full version later (sound familiar)? There are options, SE chooses not to take them.

They should just ditch the Live Letters altogether at this point. I believe they intended to do that but kept it around due to popular demand. Yet it's clear that by that they mean to gradually cut off all the extra work that brings it to the EU and NA communities. I would have thought they could use some of the profits from the cash shop to hire a translator but that's clearly not the case.

Why is there even a delay of the live letters? Why don’t they just use the lodestone?

Considering the time difference between NA/EU and JP regions, it is the very least they could do.
